Architectural Archives - Modernist Home Design by CORE10

The roots of CORE10 go back a long way and include this beautiful modernist house design project from 1991 in Bloomfield Hills, MI.

The house is divided into two wings, one for public functions and one for the owner's private quarters. The void between the wings creates a triangular courtyard. The rusty steel shields the house from the street. The steelwork and glasswork were provided by Gary Kulak of Detroit.

Current architectural design projects still focus on this kind of simple programming and honest palette for both modernist house designs and commercial building design work.
